Providing an experience of harmony between humans and the living Earth, the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden is located at Palm Creek Road, Tanawha. The Garden is set amongst 82 hectares of eucalypt and riparian forest, with creeks, lagoons and walking tracks
There is and Arts and Ecology Centre at the Garden which hosts activities and events, with a focus on exploring the relationship between art and nature. The learning circle is a series of outdoor desks that provide a learning environment for visitors.
As well as having a wonderful array of plants there is also a wide range of birds and animals that inhabit the gardens. The garden is open from 7am to 5pm (April to October) and 7am to 6pm (November to March).
